Our Scuba Cats

In Marfa Bay, where our dive centre and the LABRANDA Riviera Hotel & Spa are located, a group of free-roaming cats have sought and found their home. Some of them were born in the wild and others were unfortunately abandoned by their owners. Each of these cats is unique and has its very own character! These velvet paws now have a safe food supply with us and in return they take care of the vermin extermination around the hotel complex.

Since 2015, the staff at the dive centre have been devotedly looking after the entire gang of cats. We make sure that the hotel cats get enough food every day and receive medical care in case of emergency. Every cat is neutered for animal welfare reasons. As this involves high costs, we have set up a cat donation box in the dive centre to ensure support for the animals.

If you would like to contribute financially to support the Scuba Cats from home, you can do so via this link: https://www.betterplace.me/winter-support-for-the-marfa-bay-cats-in-malta. For further information, please do not hesitate to contact us on site or by e-mail at cats@divevisonmalta.com.
